The Pain Of A Seal
The ocean is quiet and calm,
slowly every night the tide starts coming in.
While it's quiet you can hear and see all that is around you.
Soon the tide starts to come.
It's beating on the rocks.
It sounds louder and louder as the tide comes in more.
All the sudden the tide stops.
The birds, water, seals, and all living creatures are singing.
But the sounds of the tide never stop.
Looking out onto the ocean from the sandy beach,
All you can see is the beauty of the water,
Sun, ships, and animals moving.
The rain starts to come in; the tide becomes stronger.
Yet everything is silent on the outside,
Across the falling water.
Suddenly you see a ship and a whale collide with each other.
The ship is standing.
Where did the whale go?
No one knows, somewhere deep within the ocean.
The sun is starting to go down.
The tide gets quiet one more time.
Serenity sets in and quietness is once more found.
Go further down the beach and there is a bridge.
It goes out over the rocks and the ocean.
You look deeper down and try to figure out if I climb over the Bridge onto the rocks would I fall in.
Because the water is so beautiful the closer you get.
The rocks are hard and salty from the water.
Although the bridge is secure and safe.
Which one do you choose?
Only you have that choice.
A seal comes upon the rocks with a look you have never seen before.
You wonder what is going on in the mind of the seal.
But just looking you cannot tell, because seals are very quiet.
Then you notice that the seal is wounded.
Shot right in the heart by a harpoon.
Now, do you climb down on that rock?
Who knows that answer?
Only that seal knows the answer to all things.
Like, what does that seal need?
What can they do for that seal?
When you know the torture that seal is going through inside.
But not all of it.
This is when darkness sets in and all stops in the darkness.
The seals mind, body, spirit, and emotions.
The only thing you can see is the sunlight of the spirit from the ocean.
